KS1/2 Full Time Teachers 


KS1/2 Full Time Teachers– We are looking for passionate, outstanding, creative, hardworking teachers who are highly motivated and can demonstrate excellent teaching and classroom management skills. They should be willing to strive in raising standards and contribute to nurturing children in both Islamic and academic development.

The ideal candidate should have

QTS (or a relevant degree) and experience of teaching.

Class Teacher - Tazkiyah (Full Time)

We are seeking an experienced teacher for teaching children (Tazkiyah) Islamic studies, Arabic and recitation of the Holy Quran (with tajweed). Need to be able to manage classroom environment competently; have an understanding of child development and how children learn; knowledge of a range of teaching and assessment methods; ability to differentiate and focus on pupil progression; use teaching styles to instil pupils with the desire to learn and love the Qur’an; mature; articulate; with good Islamic manners presenting a role model; and demonstrate real commitment to working with young people are essential.

Early Years Practitioner (Full- Time)

Apex Primary School is looking for enthusiastic, friendly and reliable Early Years  Practitioner to join our Early Years Class. The role requires the candidate to work conscientiously within  the Early Years team to ensure the needs of all children are met. The successful candidate will also contribute to wider school life, support the School's Islamic Ethos, be a good role model and communicate professionally with all stakeholders of the school.

It is essential for candidates to have an NVQ Level 3 related to Early Years or equivalent  AND at least a C grade in Maths and English Language GCSE. 

Main Duties:

·      Planning of curriculum with EY team

·      Maintaining assessment records and completing observations

·      Providing a warm and caring atmosphere for the children

·      Promoting positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues and be part of the Key Person System.

·      Ensuring health, safety and wellbeing of the children at all times

·      Organising activities for children and maintaining a tidy and organised learning environment

Early Years Practitioner (Supply)

We are seeking an experienced early years practitioner to support pupils within our early years.

  • Need to have NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in Childcare along with experience within early years.

You will be a Key Person responsible to ensure that you can carry out observations, learning journeys and have a sound understanding of the EYFS.

Also be able to engage with children in their learning and development and instil Islamic manners and etiquettes, show initiative, commitment and work within a team.
