Anneka Mundy (APC Lead)

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh.

I am Anneka Mundy, the Chair of the Apex Parents Committee. I have a son who is now in year 1 and a longstanding connection to Apex, having worked as a teacher and EYFS coordinator at the school from 2010 to 2015. With over 15 years of experience in the Early Years sector, I am thrilled to bring my expertise to the APC and help support our youngest learners. I am thrilled to begin working with our two new APC members and to advocate for parents and work with the school to help benefit our school community, bi'ithnillah.

Samira Patel (APC Deputy Lead)

Assalamu'alaykum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuhu,

My name is Samira and my sons are in Reception and in Year 2. We joined Apex in September 2022 and it has been a pleasure to see their spiritual and academic growth.

I feel passionately about supporting our children to reach their full potential and I look forward to working with parents and the school to achieve our shared goals.

Jarmila Ourednikova

Assalaamu alaikum,

My name is Jarmila Ourednikova, and I am pleased to introduce myself as one of the new members of the APC. I am currently studying a Wildlife and Environment course, which reflects my strong interest in nature, sustainability, and environmental learning.

My professional background includes working as a Teaching Assistant and an Outdoor Learning Teacher, roles that have allowed me to support children’s learning both in the classroom and through hands-on experiences outdoors. I have a child aged 9 years currently attending the school, which gives me a personal connection to the school community.

I decided to join the APC because I am passionate about supporting the school’s development and ensuring that children have the best possible learning environment. I value collaboration between parents, carers, and the school, and I am keen to contribute my skills, ideas, and enthusiasm to support the school.
